Elysium Space is a unique team of space and funeral experts, combining experience from major NASA space missions and deep-rooted funeral profession knowledge. Our wide background goes from space systems engineering to anthropology and funeral directing. We are dedicated to offer awe-inspiring celestial services to the world and celebrate the significance of lives that have been lived with dignity and honor.
Elysium Space is named after the Greek mythology afterlife realm: Elysium, where the righteous and the heroic remain after death, to live a blessed and happy life.
Thomas Civeit is the founder of Elysium Space. He oversees the design and development of the memorial spaceflights. He believes that the time to change the vision of death from the Underground to the Celestial is now. Thomas has an extensive experience in space mission operations at NASA, notably including the Hubble Space Telescope, the James Webb Space Telescope and the Huygens interplanetary probe. He received multiple NASA awards for his work.
Elysium Space is a privately-held corporation founded in 2013. It has its main office in San Francisco, California and representation in Tokyo, Japan.
