How It Works
Participating families receive in the mail a kit containing a custom ash capsule to collect a cremated remains sample, which is carefully and respectfully placed in a dedicated spacecraft module.

Elysium Star 1
Shooting Star Memorial launched aboard a SPARK rocket on November 4th, 2015, from the Pacific Missile Range Facility located in Kauai, Hawaii, as part of the ORS-4 mission.
Elysium Star 2
Shooting Star Memorial launched aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 on December 3rd, 2018, from Space Launch Complex 4E located in Vandenberg Air Force Base, California, as part of the Spaceflight Industry's SSO-A mission.
Elysium Lunar 1
Lunar Memorial scheduled to be launched on a ULA Vulcan Centaur in the summer of 2023 from Space Launch Complex 41 located in Cape Canaveral, Florida, as part of Astrobotic's Peregrine Mission One.
